POSITION: Before and After School Teacher Assistant

JOB GOAL: To assist the teacher in implementing a structured before and after school  program involving learning and physical activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Two years of college

- Current first aid and CPR certification

REPORTS TO: Before and After School Teacher and Principal

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implement a structured daily program for students attending day care that includes learning activities and physical activities.

- Maintain written reports on children documenting medical, safety, and/or discipline problems.

- Responsible for following the school’s program descriptions and procedures.

- Communicates effectively with staff and families.

- Responsible for the safety and supervision of all students.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Before and After School, School Year

SALARY:    $17.00 per hour
