Position: After-School Mentors

Job Goal: Provide additional education and social support for at-risk students in an after-school setting

Qualifications:

• Excellent relationship building skills with high school aged students
• Experience working within a school / youth development setting
• First aid / cpr certified

Reports to: Principle & Project Coordinator

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assist with the delivery of after-school mentoring and physical activities
• Provide educational support to participants
• Build strong relationships through positive behaviors
• Help develop life skills within at-risk youth
• Deescalate situations within a calm and and appropriate manner
• Collaborate with staff and students

 Mentors- 2.5 hours a day up to 2 days

Stipend:  $35.00 per hour
